Hello Parents and Students,

We wanted to have you mark your calendars for a few upcoming events involving our amazing students.

6th Grade Informance:  Thursday, January 26, 2011 at 8:45 am in the Auditorium

3rd Grade Informance:  Thursday, January 26, 2011 at 2:45 pm in the elementary Large Stage/Gym

SAA Celebration of Arts Integration:  Thursday, January 26, 2011 at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium

All students (1st-6th grade) have been invited to participate in the Celebration of Arts Integration.  First through 3rd grade are performing a song called “It’s Our Time”, and 4th through 6th grade are performing a song called “Sing a Song of Peace”.  This is a great opportunity for you student to perform in a celebration of what makes SAA so unique.  We hope to see as many students as possible join us that evening.  Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns at 801-779-2066 ext 123 or lbayn@syracuseartsacademy.orglbayn@syracuseartsacademy.org>.

Chili's Give Back Night Coupons

SAA is promoting this as something that we can do to support those who support us!

SAA Lottery

Monday, January 16 the lottery will be officially open for “new” students to be allowed into the current  lottery.  Here is the link:  https://lottery.academicawest.com/SyracuseArtsAcademy1213 .  Click on “New Application for 2012-2013”.  Please complete the form.  If you have friends, relatives, or acquaintances asking about getting into the lottery, please share this link. 

From this lottery, we will offer an invitation to enroll in the school for the 2012-2013 school year.  The lottery information from last year has been deleted.  If they enrolled in the lottery last year and were not successful, they need to enroll again.    

This process of enrollment/registration for new students will begin around the middle of February.  We’ll keep you posted

Drama Club

Our first meeting will be combined and we will meet in the elementary
gym, on the stage, on January 20th at 1:05 - parents are invited to
attend so they can understand what we'll be doing in the club.

Art Contest

Syracuse Arts Academy is once again proud to announce the art

contest of the year!  All children -are encouraged to submit

a drawing for the front of the 2011-12 yearbook.

The theme for this year is anything that is related to

Syracuse Arts Academy.

Due date is January 3rd.

This is a great way to spend your holidays!
